Anime Origins Resource Planning
Allocate Anime Origins gems, trait rerolls, evolution materials, duplicates, gold, and AFK rewards by the progression gate they solve.
Assign every resource a job
Use gems to fill roster gaps, not to prove luck. Use evolution materials on a named unit whose evolved kit changes a role. Use trait rerolls after the unit is proven. Keep duplicates for Ascension only after the basic roster is complete. The https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wQVrE_Mdhn0 and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QLhQ_SaxZ1k previews show all four systems along with gold, daily rewards and an AFK chamber.
Apply stop rules
Stop summoning once the team has an opener, group damage, air coverage and a boss carry. Stop farming an evolution once the required recipe is complete. Stop rerolling when a trait supports the unit's job, even if it is not the rarest animation. A showcase account spending hundreds of thousands of gems or more than a thousand rerolls does not define a normal budget.
Reinvest where content opens
The best purchase is the one that removes the next gate. If flying enemies block Story, spend toward air coverage. If the raid boss survives, evolve or upgrade the carry. If the opener leaks, improve placement cost and early damage. Do not convert all resources into a cosmetic, stat grade or duplicate while a missing role keeps the account out of new modes.
Daily and AFK rewards are best treated as replenishment, not permission to gamble. Claim them before deciding the budget, then compare the balance with the exact next unlock. If the account needs one air unit, reserve enough gems to stop after that role appears. If an evolution recipe is nearly complete, do not divert the remaining materials into a second unfinished unit.
Trait rerolls have an opportunity cost even when they are free rewards. A role-matching Decay, Hustler or boss trait can be better than exhausting the account for Immortal. Set the auto-reroll stop list carefully and test it with an ordinary acceptable trait first. The goal is a reliable team, not the rarest cutscene.
Gold and levels should follow usage. Upgrade the opener enough to stabilize early waves and the carry enough to close the boss; avoid evenly leveling units that are not equipped. Ascension consumes duplicates and should be delayed until the unit's role survives balance changes and appears in multiple teams.
Maintain a small reserve after every project. A new banner or mode can introduce a target type the current roster lacks. With no reserve, the account can own one optimized unit and still be unable to enter the next piece of content. Resource planning is successful when it keeps options open while removing one gate at a time.
Use clear speed as the final measure. An expensive evolution that cuts a repeatable raid from ten minutes to six has measurable value. A cosmetic or marginal stat grade that changes no wave and no clear time should wait. Compare before and after with the same stage and placement order.
Separate permanent and reversible decisions. Repositioning and changing equipped units cost nothing; try those first. Normal upgrades and levels are usually cheaper than rare rerolls. Evolution and Ascension commit scarce materials or duplicates, so require a named mode and expected outcome before pressing confirm.
Track resources after each project in a simple ledger: starting balance, amount spent, role gained, stage tested and result. If a large spend produces no new clear, stop and diagnose rather than doubling down. This makes bad luck visible and protects the reserve for the next banner or balance change.
Review the ledger before the next Daily Spin claim. It will show whether the account needs another pull, a farm run or simply a better placement order. Free rewards are most effective when they complete an existing target instead of starting another unfinished project.
Resource planning should reserve separate budgets for coverage, evolution and rerolls. Gems can buy options, but they cannot repair a team that ignores target type. Trait rerolls are most efficient after the unit has already proved its role in Story or a resource mode. Evolution materials belong on the carry that removes the next wall. Ascension and later menus should wait until the normal route explains why the account needs them.
